Tuesday, February 11

1) Complete vocab for Act II

2) Look at questions for Act II in Study Guide

3) If you  have a reading part tomorrow, please prepare for your part by trying to understand your role and what you are saying.

4) If you do not have a reading part, look for devices and think of comments of questions you might have.

 

Wednesday, February 12

1) Provide 5 literary devices found in Act II, scene i, up to line 210. Provide line references please. These devices will be marked.

 

2) Please study for your TEST on Friday, February 14. You will be required to know information from the Shakespeare lecture that I gave, the definitions for literary devices from the chart that I provided, as well as what has happened in Act I of Othello. * If you will be absent on Friday, you may write the makeup test on Tuesday, February 18 at lunch. The test will be different from the one given on Friday, so asking your friends for the questions will be a waste of time. ;)

 

For Tuesday, February 18

1) Answer questions for Act II

2) Find 5 literary devices from Act II. Give line references as proof and explain how the proof demonstrates that literary device.

3) Practice reading assignments

 

Wednesday, February 19

1) Do vocab for Act III

2) Summarize what happened in Act III from beginning of Act III to Act III, scene iii, line 341.

 

Thursday, February 20

1) Answer questions for Act III to be handed in tomorrow!

 

Thursday, February 27

1) Finish answering Act V questions (note: You will only find the answer to #4 in the text. Read past the part where Othello smothers her).

2) Finish filling out Venn Diagram for movie and play.
